My main goal as a driving instructor is to help prepare the next generation to become safe, responsible, and confident drivers. I enjoy passing on the knowledge and practical skills I have gained over the years and seeing learners develop the confidence they need to drive independently.

Before becoming a driving instructor, I worked as a teacher and trainer with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). This experience helped me develop valuable teaching and communication skills while working in a diverse environment with colleagues, workmates, and students from different backgrounds, personalities, and age groups.

I understand that everyone learns differently. Some students may be confident from their first lesson, while others may feel nervous or need more time to develop their skills. My approach is to provide quality, structured, and stress-free driving lessons that are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style.

I am a friendly, calm, patient, and quietly spoken person, and I believe being a good listener is an important part of being a good instructor. I encourage students to tell me where they feel they need to improve, and together we can create a lesson plan that works for them.

My goal is not simply to help students pass their driving test. I want to help them develop the knowledge, skills, awareness, and confidence needed to become safe drivers for life.

A Personal Reason for Becoming a Driving Instructor-

Family has also played an important role in my journey. I have been happily married for over 25 years, and my wife and I have three beautiful daughters.

I helped all three of my daughters learn to drive and obtain their licences. Seeing their progress—from learning the basics to becoming confident independent drivers—was incredibly rewarding. That experience was one of the reasons I decided to become a driving instructor and help other families experience the same sense of achievement.
